Overview
Change History is the operational log in Tello IAM. It records every action the platform has executed across all connected integrations — a timestamped, searchable record of every provisioning operation, access change, and system event Tello IAM has performed. Change History is available at any time and is not cleared between sessions.
Navigate to Change History in the left navigation to access the log.
What Change History records
Each entry in the Change History log captures the following:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Operation type | The action performed — for example, Create User, Enable User, Disable User, or Grant Access |
| User | The User the operation was performed on |
| Integration | The application the operation was executed in |
| Time | The timestamp of the operation |
| Status | Whether the operation succeeded or failed |
Select any entry to review the full detail of that operation, including the specific changes made and any error information if the operation failed.
Using Change History
Verifying provisioning
After assigning a Role Template or taking a manual provisioning action, use Change History to confirm the corresponding operations executed and completed successfully. Filter by the User and time range to surface the relevant entries quickly.
Investigating failed operations
Filter by status to surface operations that did not complete successfully. Select any failed entry to review the error detail. Common causes include an integration that has lost authorization, a permission configuration that conflicts with the target application's requirements, or a User record with missing attributes. Resolve the underlying issue, then retrigger the operation or resync the affected integration.
Maintaining an audit trail
Change History is the authoritative record of everything Tello IAM has taken or detected. It provides evidence of provisioning actions for compliance reviews, security audits, and incident investigations. For a structured export of platform activity, use the Audit Report — see Monitoring: Reports.
Filtering the log
Select Filters to narrow the log by:
- User — view all operations for a specific User
- Integration — view all operations within a specific application
- Time range — limit the log to a specific date and time window
- Status — filter to succeeded or failed operations only
Select Refresh to load the most recent entries.
