Integration Guide: WebEx
Learn How to Connect the WebEx Integration
Published Date: July 1, 2026 | Last Updated: July 2, 2026
Overview
The Webex integration connects Tello IAM to your Webex organization using SCIM provisioning. The connection requires 2 values from Webex Control Hub: the Organization ID and a SCIM bearer token.
Before connecting
The Administrator completing this setup must have a full administrator account in Webex Control Hub. A full admin account is required to retrieve the SCIM bearer token — partial or read-only admin roles cannot generate it.
Step 1: Locate the Organization ID in Control Hub
- Sign in to Webex Control Hub as a full administrator.
- Locate the organization name at the bottom left of the navigation.
- The Organization ID is displayed under the organization name. Copy the value.
Step 2: Retrieve the SCIM bearer token
- While signed in to Control Hub as a full administrator, navigate to
https://admin.webex.com/identity-idp/scim/v1/bearer. - Copy the bearer token from the URL.
Note: The bearer token is valid for 365 days. Record the retrieval date and plan to refresh the token annually — the integration will lose authorization when the token expires. See Reauthorizing the connection below.
Note: Webex settings and paths may change. If the Organization ID or bearer token cannot be found where described, contact support.
Step 3: Connect Webex in Tello IAM
- Navigate to Integrations in the left navigation.
- Select + Add Integration.
- Search for Webex and select Add. The Configure Webex dialog opens.
- Enter the Organization ID in the Organization ID field.
- Enter the bearer token in the SCIM Bearer Token field.
- Select Test Connection to verify the credentials. A Connection successful confirmation will appear if accepted.
- Select Connect. The integration appears on the Integrations page and an initial sync begins automatically.
Verify the connection
After the initial sync completes, confirm the following on the Integrations page:
- The Webex integration displays a status of
Active - A sync timestamp is present and reflects the completed sync
- User records on the Users page display detected Webex permissions in the Access column
Reauthorizing the connection
The SCIM bearer token expires 365 days after retrieval, at which point the integration displays an error on the Integrations page. To reauthorize, retrieve a new bearer token from Control Hub as described in Step 2, then select the integration row in Tello IAM, select Configure, and enter the new token.
