Learn How to Connect the Salesforce Integration
Published Date: June 8, 2026 | Last Updated: June 8, 2026
Overview
The Salesforce integration connects Tello IAM to your Salesforce organization using OAuth. The Administrator completes the connection by logging in to Salesforce directly from Tello IAM and authorizing access.
Before connecting
The Administrator completing this setup must have a Salesforce Admin account. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) may be required during login depending on your Salesforce organization’s security settings.
Connect Salesforce
- Navigate to Integrations in the left navigation.
- Select + Add Integration.
- Search for Salesforce and select Add.
- Select Login to Salesforce. A Salesforce login page opens in a new window.
- Sign in with the Salesforce Admin account credentials. Complete MFA if prompted.
- A Connection Established confirmation appears in Tello IAM showing the organization name, the account connected as, and the timestamp of the connection.
- Select Done. The integration appears on the Integrations page and an initial sync begins automatically.
Verify the connection
After the initial sync completes, confirm the following on the Integrations page:
- The Salesforce integration displays a status of
Active - A sync timestamp is present and reflects the completed sync
- User records on the Users page display detected Salesforce permissions in the Access column
Reauthorizing the connection
If the Salesforce integration loses authorization, it will display an error on the Integrations page. To reauthorize, select the integration row, select Configure, and complete the login flow again.
